A secluded beach, with a view across to Godrevy lighthouse (the burst of white that you can see in Sun, Sea, Sand: Lelant II) – Lelant beach has golden sand and clear blue water.

Approached through a path that runs past a church and a golf course, sunbathers are rewarded with beautiful soft sand and dunes, and children have lovely warm tidal pools to play in. For many, this beach has everything you could want.

The images are abstracted to simplify the scene, yet retain the colour and vibrancy of a hot summer’s day spent lazily on the beach.

My suggested finish for these works is Direct Print to Aluminium. I find that the combination of bright sand and clear blue creates a bright, graphic quality when direct printed to perfectly flat Aluminium as apposed to the Brushed Aluminium finish. These pictures also work well as Paper prints framed in box frames.
